Plume In The Wind

So I went on a rant about this to a friend of mine recently and she said, oh my god, that happens to me constantly as well. And from that alone, I'm guessing that this is much more widespread than what I thought.

So I'm going to say it's simply: Stop comparing Autistic people to fucking Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory. For the love of everything.

I never watched a single episode of The Big Bang Theory. Every clip I saw, I hated. But I don't need that to know that Sheldon and I have nothing to do with each other. Because every time I've been compared by people around me to a fictional character, or hell, even someone else, it's just because people summarize me as a hyper-specific trait. Usually: "Oh, you're a nerd!"

If I have to hear one more time, somebody tell me "He's just like you". I may scream until my lung bleeds.

Fuck you, Sheldon. Like, for real.
